Ross Boelling and Dennis Bixby formed Iron Horse Development after catching a vision: Build uncommon homes in cities and towns that are on the verge of experiencing extraordinary growth.

Ross Boelling has a depth of experience in project management, fire code enforcement, and managing people for results. With 12 years experience as a state regulator, including 5 years as Chief of Fire Prevention for the Kansas State Fire Marshal. Ross also has eight years of experience as a volunteer fireman in Herington and was named "Firefighter of the Year" at Silver Lake. Ross donates his time and leadership skills to a church. The Boelling family enjoys a rich tradition of involvement in Herington and the surrounding area.

Dennis Bixby has over 25 years of experience in home design, building, and construction project management on projects ranging from $500,000 to $3M. His broad experience in the building trades industry brings a level of expertise not typically found in land developers. Dennis also donates his time and expertise by participating in various building projects at a church in Tonganoxie, KS.
